These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of the Expenso mobile application ("the App"). By downloading, installing, or using Expenso, you agree to these Terms.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years of age to use Expenso. By using the App, you confirm that you meet this requirement and that you are capable of forming a legally binding contract. If you are under 18, you confirm that you have obtained parental or guardian consent.

2. Use of the app

Expenso is provided to help you track personal income and expenses. You agree to provide accurate information where required (e.g., during sign-in) and to use the App only for its intended, lawful purpose.

3. Your account

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account and for all activity that occurs under it. Notify us immediately at support@skyzeninfotech.com of any unauthorized use of your account.

4. Your data

You retain all rights to the financial data you enter into Expenso. We do not claim ownership over your transactions, categories, or budgets. See our Privacy Policy for details on how that data is stored and used.

5. No financial advice

Expenso is a personal finance tracking tool, not a financial advisory service. Statistics, reports, and summaries are provided for informational purposes only and should not be treated as professional financial, tax, or investment advice.

6. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • Reverse-engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code of the App, except as permitted by applicable law.
  • Use the App for any unlawful purpose or in a way that could disable, damage, or impair its operation.
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to other users' accounts or data.
  • Upload or transmit any malicious code, virus, or harmful data through the App.

7. In-app purchases & payments

Expenso may offer optional one-time in-app purchases (for example, a purchase to remove advertisements permanently). The following terms apply to any such purchases:

  • Pricing. All prices are displayed in Indian Rupees (INR) inclusive of applicable taxes. Prices are subject to change without notice.
  • Payment processing. Payments are processed securely through Google Play (Android) or the Apple App Store (iOS). We do not store your payment card details.
  • One-time purchases. A one-time purchase grants you the purchased benefit (e.g., ad-free experience) on your account permanently, subject to these Terms remaining in effect.
  • No refunds. All purchases are final and non-refundable, except where required by applicable law or by the refund policy of the relevant app store. To request a refund, please use the Google Play or Apple App Store refund process directly.
  • Account-bound. Purchased benefits are tied to your Expenso account. If you delete your account, any purchased benefits will be permanently lost and are not transferable.
  • Availability. In-app purchase features may not be available in all regions or on all devices.

8. Third-party services

Expenso uses third-party services including Firebase (Google) for authentication and optional cloud storage, and Google Play / Apple App Store for payment processing. Your use of these services is also governed by their respective terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for the practices or content of these third-party services.

9. Availability

We aim to keep Expenso available and reliable, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted access. Features such as Cloud Backup depend on third-party infrastructure (Firebase/Google Cloud) and may be temporarily unavailable.

10. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to Expenso at our discretion, without prior notice, if we determine that you have violated these Terms or engaged in conduct harmful to other users, us, or third parties. You may also terminate your account at any time by deleting it within the App. Upon termination, your right to use the App ceases immediately.

11. Limitation of liability

Expenso is provided "as is," without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Skyzen Infotech shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the App, including but not limited to data loss, loss of profits, or financial decisions made based on App data. We recommend periodically using the Cloud Backup or Export Data features to safeguard your information.

12. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Skyzen Infotech and its officers, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including legal fees) arising out of your use of the App, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any rights of a third party.

13. Governing law & jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Any disputes arising out of or in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in Gujarat, India.

14. Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated by updating the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of the App after changes take effect constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
